CIMES 2008, the 9th China International Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition, organized by China National Machine Tool Corp, Reed Huayin Exhibitions and Capital Exhibition Services, will be held at both the new and current China International Exhibition Center in Beijing from October 9-13, 2008.
CIMES is a biennial networking opportunity that has achieved great success through all 8 previous editions in Beijing, starting in 1992.
It has also been granted the status of a UFI Approved International Event.
CIMES 2006 housed 1,020 exhibitors from 25 countries worldwide, and saw 159,000 trade visitors and covered a total exhibition space of 75,000sq.m with a total transaction value of USD 1.69 billion.
In 2008, with the next Olympic Games to be held in Beijing, CIMES 2008 is expected to host more than 2,000 exhibitors and 200,000 trade visitors, and to cover a total exhibition space of more than 150,000sq.m.
As Such, the show will be the third largest international machine tool and tools show in the world: third only to EMO in Europe and IMTS in the US.
