The aim of this development order for the outdoorScan3 from SICK was to accelerate intralogistics processes while at the same time providing personal protection. The focus is on automated guided vehicle systems that have to switch between halls and transport goods outdoors. The outdoorScan3 enables safe navigation through external industrial environments. Sun, rain, snow and fog no longer stand in the way of going outside.
