Victoria’s MVP to supply hundreds of US pharmacies

Australian manufacturer Medical Developments International (MVP) has signed a deal to supply respiratory devices to hundreds of pharmacies across the US.

Walmart-owned Sam’s Club has placed its first order for MVP’s Compact Anti-Static Space Chamber range, which compliments inhalers.

MVP, a leader in emergency pain relief and asthma respiratory products based in Victoria, is expanding internationally and will supply to all 626 of Sam’s Club stores.

Their product has been labeled as a “preferred respiratory device” by Sam’s Club.

“MVP has been working towards securing core ranging deals from a number of large USA pharmacy retail chains for some time,” said John Sharman, the company’s CEO.

“We are gaining acceptance for the quality of our product and our product pricing in the US.

“There are 67,000 pharmacies across the US and our focus remains on getting deals done with the other large retail pharmacy chains.”

MVP now has the ability to sell its respiratory devices into almost 11,000 US pharmacies and expects to agree more deals within the next year.

“We have a world class respiratory device product range and we have a significant price advantage over competitor products in the US,” Sharman added.
