Structural Monitoring Systems outsources sensor production to third party

STRUCTURAL Monitoring Systems will outsource production of the components used in its test and measurement products to Romar Engineering.

Structural Monitoring Systems says Sefton-based Romar Engineering will make the components that go into its PM200 diagnostic tool, laboratory kits, CVM switches, sensors and leads.

This new role expands on Romar’s existing work making specialised connectors for Structural Monitoring Systems.

The agreement, according to the companies, will result in better quality products, opportunities to scale up, reduce costs, and help boost development of technologies.
