Spot welding robot

NACHI’s newly developed Presto ST robot is suitable for spot welding, palletising, handling, deburring, loading, die casting, press brake and press to press handling applications.

The ST Series robot — better performance, greater accountability.

The ST Series was developed in response to customer requests for better performance, greater accountability, heavier payload capacity, improved application cable life, and ease of maintenance, in a spot welding robot.

The series is available in shelf and floor mount type. The new robot is available in four different models capable of handling payloads of 166kg and 200kg.

The robot’s internal cable routing arms are designed to eliminate cable problems and provides quick recovery from damage to cables, air and water lines. With efficient cable management system there is reduced cable interference with the peripheral devices.

Additional features include easy maintenance by reducing grease application points from 27 points and 27 minutes to 4 points and 4 minutes by using a grease bath design.

Battery replacement cycle is said to be three times longer than previous and it also features origin position reset from a Teach pendant.

Payload can be easily changed after installation by replacing the wrist and second axis motor.
