SEW-EURODRIVE is all set to showcase a comprehensive offering of drive solutions at the upcoming Foodpro 2014 in Melbourne.
SEW-EURODRIVE’s display at the Foodpro 2014 exhibition will include gearmotors and drive electronics as well as service, support and training to the food and beverage industry.
According to SEW-EURODRIVE’s Victorian Sales and Product Manager, Darren Klonowski, food and beverage manufacturers are increasingly seeking out drive solutions providers that can deliver a complete drive system.
Food and beverage manufacturers are finding it beneficial to source a comprehensive drive service offering from a single supplier from gearbox through to the drive electronics. These end users also require service, support and training, with SEW-EURODRIVE leading the way by providing an Australia-wide network of service facilities.
SEW-EURODRIVE’s MOVIGEAR mechatronic high efficiency drive unit is popular amongst food and beverage manufacturers due to its IE4 Super Premium Efficiency rating and high degree of ingress protection (IP66), protecting against washdown processes. MOVIGEAR also features an optional anti-stick Teflon outer coating to protect against chemical/ caustic cleaning processes.
Another exhibit on the SEW stand will be the DAS Series ASEPTICplus gear motors, designed for hygienic production areas. The ASEPTICplus drive package contributes to the reduction of bacteria, reducing the accumulation of debris and air movements.
