Seeking your views – Management Skills in the Manufacturing Sector

The Australian Industry Group, in consortium with Precision Consultancy, is contracted by the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to investigate new management training options for manufacturing employees/companies.

Members of the Victorian Manufacturing Skills and Training Taskforce have identified a shortage of skills in leadership and management and the absence of suitable qualifications and training delivery options. The taskforce has also identified the need for learners to be provided with additional supports such as mentoring, coaching and peer support networks to improve the likelihood of success and to extend learning.

We are now seeking the views of industry and employers in relation to these issues.

There are several ways in which you can be involved.

·         By downloading, reading, and responding to questions raised in a Discussion Paper that can be accessed by clicking here. You can email responses to Mitch Cleary at mitch@precisionconsultancy.com.au.

OR

·         By completing an online survey in relation to these issues at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/management_skills_questionnaire

OR

·         By providing your views directly through a phone or face-to-face interview (approximately 20 minutes) with one of the consultants. This can be arranged by emailing mitch@precisionconsultancy.com.au or phoning 03 9606 0118.

For any other queries, contact Mitch Cleary mitch@precisionconsultancy.com.au or Alison Vickers  alison.vickers@aigroup.asn.au
