SCLAA opens ACT & Southern NSW Division

The Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) has launched a new ACT & Southern NSW Division to better serve its customers in this area.

Over 140 people from the ACT region, as well as numerous guests from around Australia, attended the breakfast launch of the ACT & Southern NSW Division of the SCLAA recently at the National Press Club, Canberra.

“A variety of industries were represented including Federal and ACT Government, Senior representatives from defence, IT and financial industries, the ACT and Region Chamber of Commerce and various ACT based organisations,” said newly-appointed division chairwoman, PJ Gould.

“The Capital Region is mature enough to not have to go to Sydney for professional development, training and networking opportunities within the Supply Chain and Logistics profession and accordingly the ACT & Southern NSW Division is receiving excellent support across a wide sector of the community.

“The SCLAA is a professional organisation that is run by members for members and the committee is passionate about the success of our Division.

“The launch was a great success, with all presenters being extremely well received including Air Vice-Marshal Margaret Staib, AM, CSC, Commander Joint Logistics, who discussed Defences Joint Logistics capability and future direction.”
