Sawmill damaged by fire

A Tasmanian sawmill has been devastated by a fire that tore through the site over the weekend.

Around $150 000 worth of damage was caused by the blaze at the Lilydale sawmill, in Tasmania's north, according to The Mercury.

It caused serious damage to the site's administration building, which was also used a part-time home.

Investigations have now begun into the cause of the blaze.

This is the second time the site has been hit by fire, after a blaze destroyed equipment late last year.
