Quickstep appoints two new senior executives

Australian advanced materials company Quickstep Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of two senior executives with particular focus on promoting Quickstep’s aerospace manufacturing solutions.

The company is ramping up its efforts to fast track the industrialisation and promotion of its patented ‘Quickstep Process’ and secure new manufacturing contracts.

The company has appointed Sebastien Godbille to the position of general manager of Quickstep Process Systems and Ari Vihersaari to the position of vice president of Global Business Development.

Sebastien Godbille is a highly experienced aerospace executive, who joins Quickstep following three years as CEO of Daher Australian Aerospace, a joint venture between French company Daher (a major Tier 1 supplier of composite parts in France) and Australian Aerospace (a subsidiary of Eurocopter, a member company of EADS, Europe’s largest aerospace organisation).

During his time as CEO of Daher Australian Aerospace, Godbille was responsible for building and managing a new multi-million-dollar facility in South-East Queensland dedicated to the manufacture of advanced composite parts for helicopter fuselages for Eurocopter.
As Vice President of Global Business Development, Ari Vihersaari’s core task will be to provide business development services for the Quickstep company on a global basis.

He has spent most of this career in the aerospace and defense sectors, and in companies developing, designing and manufacturing advanced, lightweight structures.

His experience includes management of high technology SME’s, managing spin-off and engineering programs and leading sales and business development teams.
