Wrights HardWear will launch new welding gloves from Bollwerks in September 2010.
According to the company, the new Bollwerk gloves provide greater dexterity and precision when welding and grinding, allowing one glove to be used for both tasks.
Constructed from buffalo leather, the welding gloves have Kevlar stitching both internally and externally.
A Kevlar midlayer protects the back of the hand, and the wrist to the fingers are protected by aerogel. Reinforced fingers ensure a long life.
Wrights HardWear says the aerogel allows exposure to heat of over 1000 degrees Celsius without discomfort.
