Ultra-rugged mobile computers from Intermec

INTERMEC has launched the 70 Series, its next generation portfolio of ultra-rugged mobile computers, which reportedly delivers unparalleled performance to maximise worker uptime and efficiency to the Australian market.

The 70 Series comprises four distinct products which share a common platform and capabilities – CN70 (field service, transportation and logistics), CN70e (direct store delivery/route accounting), CK70 (parcel delivery in courier, express and postal operations) and CK71 (manufacturing and warehousing). 

According to the company, each product is built to help businesses optimise resources to improve operational efficiency, support future growth, and deliver high customer satisfaction.

The 70 Series features Windows Embedded Handheld and1D/2D scan engines, includes the new EA30 2D scan engine with breakthrough motion tolerance performance and an advanced aiming system, and the 3rd generation EX25 near-far scan engine with  increased distance and velocity of data capture.

It also features 802.11n dual-band WLAN for better connectivity and communication for mobile workers. Other features include six-foot drop spec across all temperatures, IP67 sealing, Gorilla glass touch panel, and indestructible keypad technology.
