SMC Pneumatics Australia is said to be removing static electricity problems from small work pieces and products with its IZN10 range of nozzle type ionizers.
Generating ions at a rate of 60kHz, IZN10 nozzle type ionizers can render a static charge on plastic, paper, films, powder, electrical components, glass and plastic lenses, metals and other materials to an ion balance of +/- 10v or less.
SMC Pneumatics Australia says the fast elimination of static electricity removes the potential for damage, dust adhesion and other static electricity problems.
Available in three models, the IZN10 ionizer range requires 24V (dc) power and can be connected to an optional IZD/IZE series or monitor and sensor to aid the elimination of static electricity. Energy saving and dust removal models are also available.
SMC Pneumatics Australia’s product also features fault and maintenance indication, feedback functions and the ability to direct the ion discharge to small components or into tight spaces to combat static electricity problems.
The IZN10 nozzle type ionizers complete the range of static electricity elimination products from SMC Pneumatics.
