SICK Australia’s new CDF600 connection box allows easy integration in Profibus networks for all barcode scanners of SICK’s CLV6xx series.
In addition, signals (e.g. from reading-gate trigger photoelectric switches) can be detected via the two digital inputs. Two more digital inputs are available for switching signals.
All connections can be plugged in externally; no parameterisation software is necessary to commission the CDF600 (Connection Device Fieldbus).
These factors permit ‘plug & play’ integration of scanners and sensors, whose settings are stored in a parameter memory unit integrated in the CDF600 – for rapid device replacement.
