Cloud 9 runs on a wireless network or 3G/4G data service in the plant, allowing businesses to save money on computer servers and internal IT staff.
The solution can provide quoting, sales orders information, inventory control, data on accounts payable and receivable, and other general reporting.
It is designed for operators, supervisors and management, offering real-time operations and accounts data in seconds from anywhere in the world.
Cloud 9 takes advantage of the new iPad2’s 10-hour battery life, light weight, and built-in conferencing capabilities. It can also be used with other compatible tablet PCs.
According to ManuDyn, the system’s cost of ownership is low, with users paying a monthly fee-per-user charge only.
