Russell Fraser Sales has partnered with InnovX Systems to sell positive metal
identification (PMI) instruments to the metal inspection and testing, aerospace
and scrap metal industries.
The new DELTA Portable XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) instruments use an X-Ray
source for materials analysis. Levels of accuracy, tolerance and speed are said to
be improved with the new Silicon Drift Detectors.
These PMI instruments reportedly produce fast measurements with high accu
racy in 1 to 2 seconds. The DELTA features precision, detection limits and light
element measurement capabilities, the company claims.
