IFM’s new safety light curtains and grids are designed to provide an optical solution for protecting machines, work areas and plant personnel.
Unlike mechanical options such as safety gates and pull-back restraints, ifm’s hands-free solution is said to eliminate excessive handling when entering hazardous areas and using equipment.
The compact, low-profile safety light curtains and grids can provide hand protection, body protection and body parts protection and are available in a Type 2 or Type 4 safety rating according to IEC 61496.
