Capital Safety has launched a new range of PROTECTA Rebel Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRL’s) which features an ultra-durable product design, increased weight capacity and high-tech safety features to meet specific customer fall protection needs.
With top-of-the-class weight capacity, the Rebel SRLs feature can accommodate up to 140kg, and its sturdy, robust design ensures longer product life to lower the cost of ownership.
It has an improved ergonomic design and is available in either aluminum or composite housing models. Additionally, the device is equipped with a special carrying handle to make transportation to and from the job site easy and has been designed to be stackable for simple, space-maximising storage, according to Capital Safety.
The Rebel SRL is said to have been designed with the worker in mind as it has an impact indicator to ensure the equipment has not been involved in a fall and a top anchorage swivel to hold the SRL in line with the worker’s motion allowing for ease of movement and increased mobility. The new models are also sharp edge compliant, reportedly making them ideal for use in horizontal applications.
“Our newest SRL range builds upon the quality that Capital Safety’s family of SRL’s are known for, while responding to industry demands for SRL’s that are increasingly tailored to individual needs,” said Rick Millar, Technical Manager with Capital Safety Australia & New Zealand.
“These options allow customers to choose the exact Rebel SRL that is right for them, down to the type of material it is made of and the exact lifeline type and length the job site dictates.”
The Rebel SRL line comes with product options, including such as nylon web, galvanised or stainless steel lifelines ranging in length from 3.3 to 30m.
