Spitwater’s SW2021 is a heavy-duty industrial hot water cleaner designed and built in the company’s Albury manufacturing plant. The unit is a 415-volt, three-phase powered high-pressure cleaner that produces 21 litres per minute of hot or cold water at 3,000 psi pressure.
The heart of the machine is a brass-headed pump with ceramic pistons. The pump is direct-coupled to the motor which requires a 20-amp power outlet. The machine is manufactured in a locally-made zinc-annealed and powder-coated chassis with a stainless steel cover.
The SW2021 is fitted with a large water cooling tank which acts like a radiator in a car and is designed to allow full water by-pass in trigger-closed mode, which is said to protect from overheating. The models offer a feed tank but by-pass water back to the pump head.
The Spitwater cooling tank is reportedly a genuine by-pass tank with water being drawn from and returned to it when the trigger is closed and machine is operating.
