The series VXK direct-operated, two port solenoid valve is the latest product from SMC Pneumatics for valve performance.
The VXK series features an in-built filter which is said to improve valve performance and stop leakages. Made from stainless steel 100 mesh, the VXK filter removes foreign matter from the circulating fluids which according to SMC Pneumatics, protects downstream equipment and therfore improves valve performance.
The Y shaped filter is removable for maintenance and is interchangeable in port size and voltage with SMC Pneumatics’ VX2 solenoid valve range.
The SMC Pneumatics VXK series is available in AC and DC, and closed and open valve types. It has an IP65 enclosure accreditation and is suitable for use with air, water, oil or steam at pressures up to 3.0MPa and fluid between -20ºC to +60ºC.
