MICRONOR’s TD5207 non-metallic fibre optic rotary encoder operates in extreme electromagnetic fields including MRI/NMR medical facilities and industrial process plants.
In operation, the TD5207 passive sensor connects to an MR310 remote encoder interface module via a simplex fibre link.
The MR310 module directly provides conventional digital/analogue position and speed feedback signals for the motion control system — typically hydraulic or pneumatic in these applications.
The basic TD5207 offers 200ppr resolution in a 3.0” square flange housing — other packages and performance options are also available.
