Denso Robotics has released its VS-050 (maximum reach 505 mm) and VS-060 (maximum reach 605 mm) five- and six-axis robots for applications such as assembly, dispensing and materials handling.
The VS series robots have a pick and place time of 0.37 sec/kg and maximum composite speed of 9000mm/sec.
Both robots are compact and slim in design – with a maximum arm width of 193mm and wrist width of 95mm.
The VS series robots are easy-to-use thanks to a high density embedded wiring which makes a variety of installation methods possible. For example, cameras, servo grippers and high density sensors can be easily installed at arm ends. Floor-, ceiling- and wall-mounts are available.
The robots have a 4kg payload in all directions – the highest in its class – according to Denso Robotics. They are able to perform complex massive hand or double hand movements in all directions without limitation.
