CROWN Equipment has released the FlexSeat, a comfortable lift truck seat for forklifts.
Recently introduced on the company’s C-5 internal combustion forklift, the patented design is said to offer exclusive suspension, and a responsive back flex and wider seat cushion.
The seat features a polymer spring based back flex that channels jolts and vibration away from the operator, is 10-17% wider than competitor’s seats, has replaceable components and shoulder cutouts that are said to improve comfort when driving in reverse.
The seat also features a layer of Dymetrol mesh that eliminates pressure points found on conventional foam-on-steel seats and does not bottom out. The flexible mesh is located beneath a replaceable industrial cover and two inches of high-density foam.
