Elliott's Chem-Tech chemical splash safety apparel is the latest generation of chemical protective suit fabrics. Chem-Tech is made from high performance, five-layer breathable fabrics.
Layer 1 has chemical, oil, soil repellant treatment on the outer fabric.
Layer 2 is 300D Oxford outer fabric.
Layer 3 is moisture vapour permeable PU hydropjilic coating.
Layer 4 is also moisture vapour permeable, but with microporous PTFE film membrane.
Finally, Layer 5 is a Tricot nylon knit liner.
The Chem-Tech breathable chemical splash fabric has been tested to ISO-11092 for water vapour resistance, which measures the ability of textile fabrics to transfer body heat and moisture vapour away from the body through protective fabric layers.
The range of Chem-Tech chemical splash protective clothing is available in standard chemical splash material or FRAS chemical splash material. The safety clothing is also available with high visibility tape for extra visibility at the workplace.
The Chem-Tech range includes coats, trousers, coveralls, bibs and braces, and aprons.
