Brazing guidelines

BOC has published Guidelines for Successful Brazing, a new booklet to assist welders produce successful, leak-tight, high strength brazed joints in their workshops.

The guide has broken down the brazing process into six key steps: joint design; choice of filler metal; pre-cleaning of the parent materials; fluxing; removal of flux residues; and heating the joint and applying the alloy.

According to the company, the Guidelines for Successful Brazing is part of its ongoing commitment to education for welders.
