Patties posts profit result

Patties Foods, the makers of Four’n Twenty meat pies, has announced a net profit for the year to June 30 of $19.5 million, an increase of 6% on the previous 12 months.

The company, which unveiled 17 new products in the three months to June 30, credited innovation, branded product growth and new contracts for the result, achieved in difficult trading conditions.

"In a trading environment where consumers continue to shop for value, strong revenue growth of 8.8 per cent has been achieved," said Greg Bourke, managing director.

Patties’ history goes back to 1966 and Lake Entrance in Victoria. Their brands include Herbert Adams, Nanna’s, Creative Gourmet and others.
