True Foods to offer over 160 manufacturing jobs

Australia’s largest tortilla and flat bread processor is moving its operations from Melbourne to Maryborough, creating approximately 160 manufacturing jobs over the next five years.

True Foods will move to the former Nestle factory, which has been closed since 2002 when Nestle ceased operations, according to an article from the Courier Mail.

True Foods is reportedly receiving $3.4 million of government funding for a new, state-of-the-art food processing plant to be built at the site.

“This new operation promises to provide significant benefits for the local community through the creation of up to 165 local jobs,” Deputy Premier Peter Ryan was quoted by the Courier Mail.
