One of the country’s biggest employer organisations, the Australian Industry Group, is ramping up its WA presence with the appointment of a new WA State Manager.
Ai Group provides support and representation to employers in a broad range of industries across the economy including manufacturing, construction, mining equipment manufacturers and suppliers, defence, labour hire, and technology and communications.
Ai Group Chief Executive, Innes Willox, said: “I’m delighted to confirm that Kristian Stratton has been appointed as Ai Group’s new and first WA State Manager.
“We are fortunate to have found someone who has such deep connections within the WA business community and insights into their issues as well as a long term, strong understanding of Ai Group and all that we do and stand for.
“Kristian will head our Perth-based operations in providing advice and support to local industry and representation with Government in support of policies that are good for business, good for the community and that help the local and national economy grow.
“Ai Group has provided support to local WA businesses and national companies with a WA presence for many years but this is the first time we have appointed such a senior manager with state-wide responsibilities.
Kristian Stratton added: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to engage with business throughout WA. Ai Group operations in WA will give business an additional channel to add their voice to important national issues.
