Thomastown Linen factory blaze estimated to cost over $1m

The ALD Linen Service factory in Thomastown, north of Melbourne, has suffered over $1 million in damage from a fire last night.

AAP reports that the roof partly caved in at the facility from the blaze, which was not being treated as suspicious.
According to The Herald Sun, over 50 firefighters were at the scene and the fire took an hour to control.

Fire investigators believe that self-combustion was the cause, with stored linen not allowed to cool properly.
