Mouser Electronics now stocks the latest DACx1416 digital-to-analog converters (DACs) from Texas Instruments (TI).

The DACx1416 is part of the pin-compatible family. It includes high-voltage-outputs with 16, 14, and 12-bit resolution, eliminating the need for an external component.

TI’s DAC addresses the specific requirements of all Mach-Zehnder Modulator technologies and biasing topologies, making it suitable for optical networking applications, industrial automation, and test measurements systems.

The integrated DAC output buffers can sync or source up to 25 milliamps, limiting the need for additional operational amplifiers. Each pair of channels can be configured to provide a differential output with offset calibration.

Mouser also offers TI’s Evaluation Module (DAC81416EVM) that connects to a PC using the TI USB2ANY interface adaptor. It enables designers to access the onboard programming interface through a graphic user interface.

TI incorporates designs and manufactures analog technologies, digital signal processing, and microcontroller semiconductors.
