MBD Corporation, which manufactures the Marbletrend brand of baths, showers, vanities and toilets, will undertake a strategic review.
According to a company statement, corporate advisor Kidder Williams Limited will conduct the review. It will examine growth opportunities (such as possible mergers and acquisitions); and investigate rationalisation and consolidation opportunities within the bathroom fittings market.
MBD Chairman, Hamish Giles stated “We are experiencing improving market conditions and a growing pipeline and along with the extensive work undertaken in repositioning our business, we see this as an ideal time to pursue growth opportunities to leverage the Marbletrend brand, our strong market position and national distribution network.

Marbletrend’s headquarters are in Bayswater, Victoria. The company has branches in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland, and agencies in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
It supplies bathroom fittings to retailers such as including Bunnings, Reece, Tradelink, and Mitre 10.
