Seven people charged regarding $2 million worth of theft from Holden’s Elizabeth plant faced Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, the ABC reports.
The stolen goods included 140 V8 engines and 175 transmissions. The charges against the six men and one woman included money laundering, theft and receiving stolen property. One of the group was a Holden employee.
The seven are prevented from speaking to each other under the condition of their bail, and will return to court in December.
