In the aftermath of the Victorian State Election, the South East Melbourne Manufacturers Alliance (SEMMA) executive officer has voiced his support for the newly-elected Baillieu Government, but has also warned the Government to remember the importance of manufacturing.

“We look forward to working with the Baillieu Government, as they execute their manufacturing policies,” said SEMMA executive officer, Paul Dowling, in a statement to the press.

“SEMMA will continue to hold the Government to account to ensure that manufacturing continues to be a significant contributor to the Victorian economy – this is too important a sector to be a victim of politicians paying lip service to their pre election policy platforms.”
