Ronson achieves international recognition for quality

Ronson Gears has gained AS9100C Quality Management System (Aersopace), which the
company hopes will boost its potential to win new work internationally.

The
audit was conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) in late-2013.

Ronson’s
managing director Gordon New said the achievement was recognition of his
company’s commitment to quality, investment in cutting-edge equipment, and
capabilities to serve the defence and aerospace industries.

He
said it would see the company’s reputation increase globally.

“Our
agent in North America is already in contact with a number of potential new
customers and we hope to branch into Europe as well in years to come,” said
New.

The accreditation
follows recognition for the company’s efforts at last year’s Endeavour Awards,
at which it won the Enterprise Connect Significant
Achievement category
.

“We
achieved ISO9001 accreditation in 1998 and have a proven record of providing
quality services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) in a broad range
of industries,” added New.

“We’ve
supplied BAE Systems for many years as well as indirectly supplying well-known
companies including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.”
