Rockhampton OneSteel boss stole $33K

A former OneSteel Rockhampton manager was found to have
stolen $33,571.25 over 10 months.

Kevin Glen Ohl pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates
Court last week to a count of dishonestly gaining money over period between
July 2012 and May 2013, The Morning Bulletin reports.

Ohl had no criminal history.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Darrell Dalton said that Ohl
started a business of his own, billing OneSteel for work that was never carried
out by Ohl’s business.

Ohl was sentenced to two-and-a-half years’ gaol, but this
was suspended wholly for three years.
