The National Manufacturing Week 2015 will present an excellent
opportunity for manufacturing industry visitors to see and try new technologies.
To be held in Melbourne May 26-29, NMW 2015 will feature live
demonstrations of machines as part of a new demo program. Machines that are reshaping
manufacturing processes such as inspection, riveting, welding and weld cleaning
are some of the innovations being showcased at this year’s event.
Highlights of the NMW 2015 demonstration
Adept Turnkey will demonstrate new technologies for fully-automated
inspection including on cylindrical bottles, jars and other items.
Autofast Australia will showcase a patented technology that sets
new rivet-speed records with a time of one rivet per second.
Innovative Welding will demonstrate the game-changing K-Tig system
that can speed up the welding process by up to 10 times.
Klingspor Australia Pty Ltd will demonstrate the performance and
longevity of their 1mm thin cutting discs.
Kockums Bulk Systems, one of Australia’s leaders in bulk materials
handling, will demonstrate lifting systems that make light work of heavy goods.
Metal Science Technologies will show an electropolishing technique
for cleaning stainless steel welds to achieve better corrosion resistance.
Suhner, the metal abrasives solutions leader, will showcase mobile
polishing of balustrades and stainless tubes and bars.
Trotec Laser Pty Ltd will demonstrate metal marking using galvo laser
Blue Water Engineering will demonstrate their Australian made Vaclift vacuum
Anthony Reed, Exhibition Director for NMW 2015 comments that this year’s
event will be very busy with the demos running alongside presentations from
industry experts, a full expo and thousands of industry visitors in attendance.
