New automotive agreement to foster closer ties with South Korea

Australia’s AutoCRC (Cooperative Research Centre for Advanced Automotive Technology) has signed an agreement to establish a joint technology research and education program with Kookmin University in South Korea. 

The agreement, which will see AutoCRC and Kookmin University collaborate on research and education into automotive technology, is aim at helping foster cooperation between the two nation’s automotive industries.

The program will see the placement of key academic staff and graduate students into Australian research institutions, followed by work focused on commercialising key technologies in both countries.

AutoCRC is Australia’s centre for coordination for automotive research, development, commercialisation, education and international engagement.
