A man has been freed after he had his arm trapped in a machine at a meat processing plant in New Zealand this morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Te Kuiti Meat Processors, about 11.45am, the food magazine reports.
According to a St John Ambulance spokesman, the 20-year-old man was flown to Waikato Hospital with severe injuries.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is making preliminary inquiries into the incident.
The meat processing plant has not yet commented on the incident.
