Queensland’s aerospace industry is set to ‘take off’ with a local company gaining accreditation to service the world’s largest aviation and aerospace manufacturers.

Heat Treatment Australia will be the first Queensland company to receive Nadcap accreditation, meaning they will be able to provide goods and services to companies including NASA, Boeing, The United States Airforce, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin and General Electric.

The family owned business is the largest commercial heat treater in Australia and is also currently working on the Australian Defence Force’s Jet Strike Fighter program.

This is a significant achievement for Queensland’s aerospace industry and has taken five years to achieve.
