Live demonstrations at Austech

UNIST Australia will have a number of live demonstrations on its stand A38 during Austech.

UNIST Australia will have a number of live demonstrations on its stand A38 during Austech, showing visitors how to eliminate flood coolant by choosing to employ the latest technology for metal cutting: near-dry machining, near-dry sawing, near-dry drilling & tapping or near-dry roll-forming.

There will be a live demonstration showing a DoAll horizontal band saw running with a Unist saw system and consuming only 10ml of Coolube per hour for a continuous sawing operation.

Moreover, flood coolant is eliminated on a Hass office mill machining a profile. The machine is fitted with a 1 nozzle Unist applicator and running on Coolube 2210.

Unist will demonstrate how to apply its technology to ‘thru-the-tool’ applications using a Suhner multi-spindle fixture, and a Unist Tornado.
