Schneider Electric has unveiled Compact NSX, described as the next generation circuit breaker to the Australian market.
The architectural design of the Sydney Opera House, which has been described as visionary, provided the backdrop for the launch of the Compact NSX.
The company says it has taken more than 170 engineers; 6 years and $A250m in research and development to create a circuit breaker that can monitor both energy and power whilst providing diagnostic information and communication flexibility.
With 23 patents pending, the Compact NSX is said to offer customers enhanced protection and an unmatched performance level in a remarkably compact device.
The circuit breaker is said to highlight Schneider Electric’s commitment to energy efficiency, which was reinforced by Schneider Electric’s Executive General Manager, Power Division, Wendy Minne commenting, “Energy is the key challenge for our planet and society and Australia is no exception. At Schneider Electric we are committed to understanding customers needs and providing ‘best in class’ solutions.”
Over 120 Schneider Electric customers attended the Sydney launch gaining an exclusive preview of the circuit breaker’s capabilities through live solution demonstrations and supporting technical information.
Guests were also treated to an inspirational speech from Laurie Lawerence, former Australian Rugby Union Representative and world-renowned Olympic and World Champion Swim coach.
The company will continue the launch tour around the country including major customer events in Brisbane; 21st May, Melbourne; 26th, Perth; 28th and Adelaide; 4th June and then travel to regional locations in all States.
