Holden recalls 42,000 vehicles

Holden has
recalled 41,933 vehicles due to potential problems with pretensioner wiring
harnesses.

AAP reports
that the recall was issued after an internal investigation and there have been
no customer accidents reported.

According to News Corp, there was a confidential bulletin sent to 230 dealers last week
about the problem. It affects certain VF Commodores and WN
Caprices.

The recall was announced on the ACCC’s website yesterday, advising car owners to “contact their nearest Holden Dealer.

“Dealers will inspect
and correct the retention of the pretensioner wiring harness to the seat base
frame.”
