Finalists named for Women in Industry Awards

Allison Basford won the Rising Star of the Year award in 2018.

The Women in Industry Awards recognise dozens of women in the manufacturing industry, who have been announced as finalists for this year.

Vying for the winning title are women from companies such as BOC Limited, Bosch Australia and Rockwell Automation.

The finalists are being celebrated for variety of achievements in areas including safety, business development and mentoring.

BOC Limited customer experience program manager Amber Burdett-Dow and Stantec process engineer Celeste Ward are among nine finalists for the Mentor of the Year award. This category recognises individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to developing female talent within their organisation and wider industry.

The Rising Star of the Year award is one that shows the variety of talent women offer in a range of industries, including manufacturing, transport and logistics, and food and beverage.

This award recognises individuals who show significant promise within their chosen industry or who have reached new goals at the start of their career.

There are 14 finalists for this award from companies such as Elgas, Roy Hill, Downer and VISA Global Logistics.
