The co-founder of ANCA, which recently again won a Governor of Victoria Export Award, has said its export success is proof that Australian businesses can lead the world.
Precision tool grinding business ANCA had previously won 10 GOVEA awards, and took out the Manufacturing Award category at the ceremony held at the beginning of the month.
“ANCA is proof that an Australian company can successfully compete and prosper in a global market and I thank our amazing team whose hard work helps us retain our leadership position,” said co-founder and director Pat Boland in a statement.
“ANCA’s success has been in the development of world leading products that solve customer needs and supporting these products with advanced and lean factories and a global sales and service distribution system.”
The Bayswater North-headquartered company exports 99 per cent of what it makes, and achieved revenues of $200 million annually.
Other winners on the night included Ray Gen Resources (Innovation Excellence) and 99designs (overall).
ANCA also took out the overall award in May at Manufacturers’ Monthly’s Endeavour Awards, as well as the category for best industrial product.
