Collapsed company Mills-Tui has liquidation sale

Specialist heavy vehicle maker Mills-Tui has sold off its
intellectual property this week, following the company’s liquidation announcement in September.

Smart Company reports that the sale was for the intellectual
property for the manufacturing and assembly of a range of vehicles and
products.

A reported 80 jobs were cut when the company – which
designed and made vehicles including buses, emergency vehicles and troop
carriers – went broke.

William John Fletcher and Tracy Lee Knight from Bentleys were
appointed as liquidators on September 18 to the Nagamba-based manufacturer.

According to Australian Bus and Coach the two main bus options offered by Mills-Tui – the Urban Edge and Orbit buses – suffered low output in 2013, then none 2014, and experienced stiff competition
from Asian rivals.
