Campbellfield caravan factory burns, collapses

An unnamed caravan factory caught fire on Saturday at Campbellfield, in Melbourne’s north.

The Age reports that there were no injuries from the fire, which began around 7:40 pm. It was brought under control in roughly half an hour by 38 Melbourne Fire Brigade firefighters.

The structure partially collapsed during the operation.

The fire brigade was scheduled to begin investigating the cause of the Scammel Street blaze yesterday morning.
