Geelong manufacturer Brockman Engineering has been awarded a $5m contract for the design, fabrication and construction of the major tank repairs for Esso Tank 1301 in Victoria.
The industrial group EVZ Limited, which operates in areas of fuel industry mechanical services through subsidiaries including Brockman Engineering, secured the project, which will begin this month.
“This project win is consistent with EVS Limited’s earnings growth strategy provided to the market in May,” said EVZ’s CEP Scott Farthing.
“EVZ continues to work closely with our major clients to serve their interests to successfully deliver new contracts that are accretive to earnings in the financial year to June 30, 2018.”
The work will take place at Long Island Point Terminal near Hastings, Victoria, and will include tank floor replacements.
