Another company targeting the manufacturing and property sectors has fallen on hard times, with Melbourne-based blinds maker Lidi Group slipping into administration this week.
Lidi made high end blinds for commercial and residential properties, and on its website the company said it specialised in controlling light and heat without compromising style or architectural integrity.
The business was founded in 1976 and turns over around $4.5 million a year.
While recent interest rate cuts and a slight improvement in the building industry would have been good news for the company, the improvements were too late to stop it collapsing.
The company joins a number of businesses targeting the manufacturing and building industries that have fallen into administration over the last six months.
