APS Industrial has announced that it has released its first custom designed product, a range of distribution boards.
Incorporating components from APS Industrial’s partners Siemens, KATKO, Weidmüller, and Rittal, the boards are designed for the demands of Australian industrial facilities.
The circuit breakers in the boards are from German manufacturer Siemens and the enclosures are from German manufacturer Rittal.
Switches are supplied by Finnish manufacturer KATKO, and Weidmüller is the source of the surge protection features.
According to David Hegarty, managing director of APS Industrial, this product was developed based on the needs of APS’s customers.
“We’ve listened to our customer base and partnered with Rittal to manufacture a product that will deliver exceptional performance and genuine value for money. Our ability to offer IP66 as standard in the ‘DB Ultimate’ highlights this and by purpose-building the chassis for Siemens circuit breakers we’re further enabling the local market to experience the best the world has to offer,” said Hegarty.
The first board to be released in the product suite, the DB Ultimate, is designed for high-end industrial applications, and to withstand heavy-duty environments. To meet these capabilities, APS Industrial selected the chosen component suppliers.
“Since we launched in 2018, APS has represented a new choice for industry that is determined to take each step with a ‘customer first’ approach. As of today, we’re pleased to extend that promise and philosophy to a complete range of Australian designed distribution boards,” said Hegarty.
The entire DB range includes a unique removable gear tray assembly, which can increase the flexibility of the board to a wide range of industrial applications.
