Ausdrill has defied recent capital investment trends and invested $20 million in new manufacturing premises in Canning Vale, WA.
Ausdrill’s chairman Terry O’Connor said its manufacturing division had fast outgrown its original premises, hence the establishment of a larger, purpose-built factory in Ausdrill’s Canning Vale complex.
“We have installed new, hi tech equipment including three new multi-tasking lathes with robotic loading and unloading capabilities.
“The new premises and equipment will greatly bolster the capacity of the manufacturing division to significantly increase production and the sale of consumables to third parties including mining companies and contractors.
“We remain optimistic about the future of WA’s resources sector and are confident that this investment in our manufacturing division is well-timed,” O’Connor said.
